Session 1: In the Pursuit of Leadership: Considerations as You Grow Your Career

This Q&A style session with Juliana Tajuba, will cover all things relating to professional growth. Session 2: Is Management Right for You?

It’s widely believed that becoming a manager is the only option for career advancement. But not everyone wants to manage. In this session, a diverse group of panelists will discuss their choices to either become a manager, pursue other career trajectories, or pass on management opportunities. Discover ways to develop your career regardless of whether you’ve set your sights on a management position.

Session 3: Moving to Management: How to Ramp Up & Accelerate Your Team

Transitioning from an individual contributor to management is a tall order. Not only do you have to learn the new role and set your own goals, you’ve also got to put ideas in motion for how to improve your team’s performance. Join this panel to hear how leaders made this transition and shifted their focus of work. You’ll learn what to consider for the first 30, 60, and 90 days on the job and how to meet your short- and long-term objectives.

Session 4: Get Promoted, Promote Your Team

When moving to a leadership position, your success depends on your team. Experienced Solutions leaders will participate in this session, talking about what they look for when considering candidates to promote to front-line leaders. Plus, discover what you should take into account to become an advocate for your team to help them grow in their careers and get noticed both individually and as a group.

Closing Keynote: The Impact of Meaningful Leadership

We close out the event with a keynote from Tom Banton, PSC’s Head of Leader Enablement and long-time Solutions executive. Tom will demonstrate how to effectively explore your motivations for seeking leadership, and how to apply learnings from the day’s sessions to improve performance and maintain growth when you return to work.
