The Azure AI team is a growing organization that consists of Specialist and Technology experts, who focus on specific domains, industries, and workloads, such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, Application Development and Machine Learning.

As the AI Sales Senior Strategist – Solution Repeatability you will work within our worldwide Data & AI commercial solution area, collaborating with internal organizations, to build customer truth around our AI patterns. You will collaborate deeply with field teams within the Commercial Solution Areas (CSA) to discover, assess and prioritize Artificial Intelligence(AI) solution assets grounded in consistent architectures that have proven repeatability with customers. These solutions will mature our sales motions in the field. You will work with the CTO organization and engineering product groups to plan and create a roadmap of solution patterns that can be deployed quickly and easily in customer environments. Similarly, you will work closely with AI marketing, sales excellence teams, and customer success + delivery organizations to land and enable our field, partner and customer teams with gold standard assets and methodologies into existing go-to-market motions.

  • Work with field teams to discover, curate and prioritize AI solution patterns that have customer truth for conversion to a gold standard repeatable package
  • Score and assess current patterns and revenue drivers and select top candidate for packaging
  • Create the business specification of the gold standard solution and co-develop the delivery and technical truth scope for release.
  • Aggregate customer delivery proof points for prioritized solutions into centralized best practices, and into genericized assets and AI approaches.
  • Drive evangelism and adoption of highest priority AI use cases with field sellers and global system integrators in deep partnership with the AI solution area.
  • Inventory resources and assets available to AI sellers, analyze best practices, and reconcile incongruities to define the gold standard for prototyping reusable IP.
  • In tandem with CSA CTO’s production team (including engineers and designers), develop scalable, deployable, reusable, and relevant field enablement technical assets to accelerate customer and partner AI cloud adoption including customer-facing solution decks, product-validated solution architectures, Github repos, customer proof points, and more.   
  • Develop and co-own program offers around high priority AI solutions for the Industry Solutions Delivery teams across all stages of the sales cycle
  • Engage and drive a cross-team alignment that represents the needs of customers, the field, and delivery teams by effectively liaising with engineering, marketing, and corporate functions to problem-solve and develop innovative solutions. 


Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Platforms platform (infrastructure & App innovation components, security, governance) and the role AI plays in unlocking Cloud Platform value. 
  • Understanding of Microsoft's AI technologies, or competitive technologies, and AI technology landscape; understanding of AI and ML processes within organizations.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
