JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and motivated seller to join our team as an Alliance Sales Director, Snowflake. This position is responsible for selling Apex’s Solutions and bulk-buy services within strategic and top accounts in the Snowflake Alliance Partnership. In this position you will strategically plan, evaluate new business opportunities, break into new areas of key accounts, and expand Solutions’ sales to achieve organization saturation in key accounts. In addition to achieving services sales and gross margin targets, the mission of this role is to transform Apex’s brand and reputation in key accounts from a provider of staffing services to a provider of technology solutions. This position will function in the role of Solutions Sales Leader within the Solutions Sales Cycle. 

 

Strategic Solutions Sales and Partnership

  • Build strong, executive-level relationships with Snowflake, and become a trusted advisor to clients and customers in partnering with them to provide strategic solutions to their business problems.
  • Leverage a strong depth and breadth of knowledge about Apex’s Solutions and Capabilities and leverage unique Alliance knowledge and insights, including best practices and trends, in order to identify and pursue Solutions Sales opportunities in top accounts. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, solution leaders and Solution Delivery Organization team members to identify and pursue Solutions Sales opportunities and continue to transform Apex’s image and brand in key accounts into that of a Technology Solutions Provider.
  • Consistently achieve pipeline targets, booked revenue targets, and booked gross margin (or spread) targets.
  • As the Solutions Sales Leader in the Solutions Sales Cycle, drive gross margin growth within Solution Sales deals
  • Support the development and growth of existing Apex sales professionals, enabling them to more effectively position, propose, sell, and close Solutions sales.

 

Sales Support & Enablement

Act as a partner advocate during the sales cycles by providing comprehensive support to our internal sales teams in their sales pursuits and Partner channel work.

  • Conduct joint sales calls and presentations with sales representatives to prospects and clients.
  • Develop customized sales materials and proposals leveraging partner resources and expertise.
  • Assist in the qualification of sales opportunities and providing technical expertise as needed including capability mapping and deal acceleration tools
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) activities with partner technical teams.
  • Drive pipeline generation initiatives with partners, including events, campaigns and joint pursuits
  • Support sales team with partner intelligence, including facilitating access to partner resources, training programs, and certification opportunities for sales professionals.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure sales teams effectively leverage partner relationships to drive revenue growth.

Market Insights and Training Enablement

Stay informed on emerging trends, competitor activities, and innovation across both partner ecosystems and target industries. Provide regular market, industry, and partner intelligence to internal teams to inform strategic decisions and drive opportunity development.

  • Collaborate with internal marketing and product teams to create strong collateral including case studies, whitepapers, and success stories that highlight the value of our partnerships
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and delivering training materials, playbooks and toolkits for client facing team to showcase our partner offerings, value propositions and GTM strategies 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems. MBA preferred or equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills
  • 4+ years selling technology professional services with a proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated Snowflake partner experience and experience working with F1000 accounts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Apex’s Solutions and Capabilities, with proven experience leveraging this knowledge to identify and pursue opportunities. 
  • One Team: Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for Apex.
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Great customer relationship management focus
  • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor Account Managers
  • Ability to drive results.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and sell in a consultative role.
  • Results-orientated with a high sense of urgency and ownership
  • Travel up to 30%, typically for client meetings and on-sites
