About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Associate Advanced Solutions Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of building cutting-edge internal tools and microservices, leveraging the latest advancements in AI and automation. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and rapidly develop solutions that drive real impact. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology, thrives on solving complex problems, and loves to build, from scratch, at scale, and at speed. You’ll have the chance to work on projects ranging from AI-powered customer service systems to advanced analytics, all within a collaborative startup-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy internal tools and microservices, with a heavy focus on AI-based solutions (e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), function calling, agentic orchestration).
- Collaborate with team members to identify business problems and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
- Build, iterate, and maintain back-end applications and services, primarily from scratch, using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Implement, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Integrate and work with cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support reliable solutions.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal AI-powered customer service systems.
- Analyze business data using platforms such as Databricks to extract actionable insights.
- Handle multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, rapid-turnaround environment.
- Participate in technical discussions involving AI governance and development best practices.
- Engage in regular in-person collaboration with the team in the office.
Skills & Experience Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Demonstrated passion for technology—e.g., side projects, contributions to open-source, hobbyist experience building apps or tools.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions quickly and iteratively.
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and familiarity with integrating AI systems.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application development; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for deploying and managing infrastructure.
- Interest in business and understanding of how technical solutions drive value.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills are preferred; ability to work effectively within a team is essential.
