Job Summary:

 Our Direct Client is seeking a fulltime Customer Success and Implementation Specialist to empower their clients—PK12 schools across the USA —by driving the successful adoption and ongoing use of their financial software solutions. This role combines hands-on support, onboarding assistance, and customer engagement to ensure schools successfully adopt and utilize our Cloud-based solutions. You’ll guide education organizations through onboarding, optimize their experience, and foster long-term partnerships that amplify customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders in PK12 schools and educational institutions across the US, supporting their use of our client’s products.
  • Lead the onboarding process for schools, including training administrators on product workflows, assisting with data migration (financial, student, or donor data), and help configuring software to meet their needs.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our client’s products and workflows, providing expert guidance to resolve non-code-level support issues related to student billing, ledger management, donor tracking, campaign analytics, etc.
  • Proactively monitor client usage, offering insights and best practices to uplevel their use of features like real-time reporting, recurring donations, and event management.
  • Document client interactions, product issues, and success metrics in a CRM system; create or customize user-friendly product documentation to help clients effectively use the software.
  • Assist in functional testing to ensure client requirements are met, identifying bugs or issues while working with schools, and collaborating with the development team to communicate enhancements or fixes.
  • Gather feedback from schools to identify areas for product improvement, relaying insights to internal teams to support ongoing development.
  • Work flexible hours to accommodate client needs across the US time zones.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience working directly with customers, ideally in a customer success or client support role 
  • Accounting background required (e.g., experience with bookkeeping, financial systems, or billing processes).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, for interacting with US-based clients such as school administrators and senior financial leadership.
  • Proven ability to train clients, manage onboarding processes, and resolve issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for empowering PK12 schools and mission-driven organizations through technology.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using billing and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Salesforce, or similar tools) is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours aligned with US time zones (ET and CT preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a school or educational institution, particularly with PK12 accounting and finance systems.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) relevant to edtech financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to convert complex requirements into practical software solutions.
