Dayforce Implementation Consultant - Talent
U.S. Based-REMOTE
6+ months (20 hours per week initially)-full time permanent for the right person
We are looking for someone with Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, and Learning Management skillsets.
- Training and certification (as directed by Practice Lead) within Dayforce in the areas of Talent.
- Interest and ability to cross-train in other areas of Dayforce (e.g., WFM, Benefits, Core HR, import/export, etc.).
- Analyzing and documenting business requirements of clients, including attendance of required meetings.
- Develop and document solutions based on best practices with focus on Dayforce delivered technology
- Configure the functional solution in Dayforce Talent.
- Develop testing strategies and perform all levels of testing, including: Day-in-the Life testing, User Acceptance testing, parallel runs, and mock cut-overs.
- Document configuration settings and design decisions to support knowledge transfer and ongoing system support.
- Make recommendations for best-practices and having business functions and processes function properly after these changes.
- Provide status reports and project feedback to Project Management.
- Train client power-users and end-users in the newly implemented solutions & processes.
- Assist with the cut-over and go-live of the project.
- Assist client power-users and end-users with system support and training needs after go-live.
- Support post go-live activities and resolve defects/ issues with Payroll.
- Provide status reports and project feedback to Project Management and participate in functional and integration meetings.
- Knowledge sharing with other consultants
- Effective risk and quality control within area of responsibility
- On-going self-development to stay up to date with latest technology and business trends and developments.
- Develop functional specifications and interact with Technical Team to ensure custom objects are developed and function according to their approved specifications
- Project Management activities including scheduling of meetings, development of agendas, attendance of meetings, capture and distribution of meeting minutes, documenting and tracking project risks, actions, issues, and decisions, scope monitoring, budget and timeline monitoring.
- Assist with content development for pre-sales opportunities such as RFPs, RFIs, RFQs
- Assist with development of marketing collateral for Core Services, pre-sales marketing.
The following items are required as a minimum to fulfil this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or equivalent business experience plus 3 years(s) experience in related positions, including experience with Talent.
- In lieu of Bachelor Degree, any combination of education and/or experience evaluated as the equivalent to a Bachelor Degree will be accepted;
- Understanding of proprietary methodologies (HCM SaaS-based systems) and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Very familiar with the Microsoft Suite of Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to travel upon request.
