About The Role

As the Demand Sales Director for the US Mid/Central or East Coast region, you will be responsible for leading and developing iion’s Demand business in the region and positioning iion as a leading Demand partner for gaming audiences. You will be responsible for defining and overseeing the market entry strategy for the region to win new demand accounts (both agency and direct advertisers) as well as developing channel and reseller partners.

We are looking to hire either in the Mid/Central or East coast region and you’ll be responsible for the region you’re hired for only. Role is remote, but might require travelling to meet clients in-person. Preference for candidates in major cities like Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about AdTech and Game advertising with strong leadership and commercial skills.

Role Responsibilities:

  • With the Chief Commercial Officer, define a Go To Market strategy for the region, prioritizing based on existing relationships and mid/long-term potential
  • Fine tune and implement sales strategies across various regions and market segments to further accelerate advertiser and demand business growth
  • Ownership and accountability of region’s accounts and new business prospects
  • Lead a work collaboratively with a team of Demand Growth/Sales team members
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote business setting, whilst skilled in delivering in person client discussions when required
  • Drive sales to key accounts through new business development
  • Work closely with marketing to implement an account-based strategy, develop sales materials and identify marketing opportunities
  • Forecast, track and measure sales KPIs using CRM and reporting
  • Create, automate and improve processes that accelerate sales and new demand business growth
  • Attend webinars, industry events to build/solidify partnerships and keep abreast of industry knowledge

Role Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience within the AdTech ecosystem with at least 4 years of experience driving sales in an agency/advertiser-facing role
  • An in-depth understanding of the advertising and agency landscape in the US market, especially the US Mid/Central or East Coast region
  • Prior experience selling an AdTech platform to agencies, clients
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic eco-system (including PMP/PG deals) to scale revenues
  • Previous experience managing and working collaboratively with a global team
  • Portfolio of agency relationships in the US Mid/Central or East Coast region is a must, broader US market agency/brand relationships is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset mixed with an outgoing personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the Mid/Central or East Coast region preferred
  • Experience in game advertising is favorable
  • Must be curious, empathetic and collegiate
