As a senior-level position, the Director of E-commerce Marketing is responsible for spearheading strategic management and advancement of online sales and digital commerce initiatives. This role, serving as a crucial equity partner, aims to propel revenue and growth within the e-commerce channel. Primary duties include optimizing online business operations to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies across performance marketing channels such as affiliate, paid search, paid social, and display to achieve new customer acquisition and retention goals.
  • Lead tactical and strategic operations, collaborating with internal and external partners to maximize paid media efforts.
  • Design and implement full-funnel creative frameworks across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest, focusing on messaging, audience targeting, and landing page optimization.
  • Oversee the creation of advertising content briefs to ensure compelling, performance-driven video and static content, optimizing messaging on web/landing pages.
  • Conduct rapid experimentation of new acquisition channels, evaluating conversion funnel effectiveness and scaling successful initiatives.
  • Translate digital marketing analytics into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Collaborate with Finance to lead budgeting, forecasting, and spending justification aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with digital marketing agencies and other stakeholders to execute strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage new customer acquisition and retention, overseeing internal teams and external agencies while allocating marketing budget efficiently.
  • Continuously evaluate digital marketing channel effectiveness using attribution tools.
  • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities based on industry best practices.
  • Oversee e-commerce website design, functionality, and user experience to achieve conversion rate optimization goals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Finance to develop annual and long-term business strategies and revenue plans for e-commerce.
  • Drive customer acquisition traffic and conversion through project management initiatives.
  • Optimize email outreach strategy and execution in collaboration with Retention Marketing Manager.
  • Coordinate and execute all online marketing and merchandising campaigns and associated content.
  • Manage SEO improvements, reporting, and roadmap with SEO Manager.
  • Oversee project management on e-commerce platforms, including planning and technical developments.
  • Facilitate continuous learning for the e-commerce team.
  • Provide accurate forecasting of e-commerce initiatives to the board.
