Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales & Business Development. This role requires a strategic leader with deep market knowledge, an established industry network, and a strong sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will build and manage a high-performing team, establish key partnerships, and drive revenue growth while serving as the primary bridge between the U.S. office and global headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales & Business Development, your role will be pivotal in leading the expansion of our client's IT solutions business in the U.S. market. You will be responsible for building relationships with key customers, conducting product presentations, developing go-to-market strategies, refining messaging with the marketing team, driving revenue growth through new business opportunities, and managing the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. Your leadership skills will be crucial in building a high-performing sales team where you will define roles, assign tasks, set performance metrics, oversee employee performance evaluations, and implement training programs.

  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with key customers, including government agencies, municipalities, and enterprises.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging and sales collateral for different customer segments.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
  • Oversee and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing sales and business development team.
  • Define team roles, assign tasks, and set clear performance metrics to track progress.
  • Establish and oversee an employee performance evaluation framework to drive productivity and accountability.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and sales effectiveness.

Key requirements:

As the Director of Enterprise Solutions Sales & Business Development, you bring over 10 years of experience in IT solutions sales, business development, or related fields. Your expertise in SAP products or services is backed by a minimum of 5 years of experience. You have a proven track record of closing large deals and scaling sales operations. Your established network in IT solutions, enterprise software, testing solutions, etc., will be crucial for this role. Your experience in building and leading cross-functional sales and technical teams will be highly valued. Your strong understanding of U.S. market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs will be key to your success in this role. Your ability to work seamlessly with international teams, bridging cultural and operational differences, is essential. Your excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills will enable you to excel in this role.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT solutions sales, business development, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP products or services.
  • Proven track record of closing large deals and scaling sales operations.
