LEG, is creating a new position for a Director of Partnership Sales. This position will directly report to the CEO of LEG and work closely with the President of CEU Creations and will be responsible for building a book of business and generating revenue through national sponsorships and group sales. 

Responsibilities

Sales Activities:

  • Develop and manage the full sales cycle for new corporate sponsorships and group sales for CEU Creations, CE4Less and NurseCE4Less. 
  • Identify and pursue strategically aligned corporate partnerships/sponsorships and group sales, focusing on the US territory.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive proposals, pitches and presentations to drive new sponsorships and group sales.
  • Develop and implement the sales strategy in a collaborative effort with the CEO of LEG and President of CEU Creations. 
  • Function as a key member of the LEG and CEU Creations Leadership team and provide insights and updates to existing sponsorship programs to generate new revenue and meet corporate partner objectives. 
  • Solicit a wide range of new business through prospecting, networking, data capture, referrals, email and cold calling.
  • Aggressively pursue all appropriate business opportunities within assigned pillars/segments including generating and responding to leads, growing customer/client base and relationship building. 
  • Analyze and understand potential new customers’ needs and objectives to assist with the development of tailored packages and proposals as needed to meet or exceed sales objectives.

 

Administrative Activities: 

  • Create, track, and maintain all proposals and agreements (Internal Sales/Account Manager to assist)
  • Manage and track partner account history, relationship details and partnership activation details in CRM on a consistent basis.
  • Provide detailed monthly updates and reports on all stages of the sales funnel (leads through closed won/lost)
  • Continuously track sponsored programs and group sales to identify underperforming accounts and develop a strategy for improvement.
  • Communicate key issues internally via status reports and meeting updates.
  • Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Director of Partnership Sales Desired Qualities:

  • Must be a team player and have the ability to foster excellent internal and external working relationships.
  • Organized, detail oriented, planner with ability to implement a systematic approach to sales strategy and execution. 
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 
  • Superb time management skills
  • Highly accountable self-starter with a desire to work in a high-growth, results-oriented team environment. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in direct B2B sales and/or sponsorship sales. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience. 
  • Successful sales track record with references to back it – including strong systems and processes for executing all aspects of the sales cycle. 
  • Experience creating compelling presentations and delivering them with success.
  • Ability to travel as needed for trade shows and other potential client follow-up. 
  • Familiarity with continuing education and the use of CEs as a marketing tool a plus! 
  • Healthcare/Aging or behavior health industry experience/contacts a plus.
