Summary
Cedar Gate Technologies is excited to announce an opening for a new Director of Sales for Providers, which we hope is the opportunity you’ve been looking for. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a designated territory, focusing on attracting new clients and implementing impactful go-to-market strategies that showcase Cedar Gate's outstanding offerings.
As an individual contributor reporting to our Chief Provider Sales Officer, you’ll have the chance to explore new markets, cultivate meaningful relationships, generate leads, and establish strategic partnerships to elevate our market presence. With the longer sales cycles, your hard work will be rewarded with generous commissions.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsibility to increase Provider Market revenue in the designated territory through net new sales.
- Identify, design, develop, and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission.
- Grow the Cedar Gate customer base and add to existing customer profitability.
- Develop and maintain high-profile external relationships with customer constituents, professional organizations, etc. (public relations presence).
- Serve as a leader in developing new business and strategic relationships.
- Help promote and grow existing clients
- Foster, promote, and facilitate company-wide products, services, and capabilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues (at all levels of the organization) to define, develop, and deliver new products and services.

Required Experience / Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, preferably working in business development management or a higher-level position.
- Track record of building a book of business and quota attainment
- Understand the Value-Based Care Market and Provider Organization Value Proposition
- Proven success in a strategic sales role with longer sales cycles
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Preferred) in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or equivalent working experience in a business-related field.
- Possess strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize and analyze data to identify trends and marketing opportunities.
- Ability to establish credibility with executive management through professionalism, ethics, integrity, mutual respect, and a value-added approach.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills at all levels, not just written or oral communication, but in-person presentation skills.
- Experience working in the designated territory with contacts in Cedar Gate’s target market.
- A self-starter who can simultaneously manage multiple internal and external initiatives.
- Team player who expresses independence of thought and opinion
- Operates well in a dynamic environment and excels at prioritizing when multi-tasking.
- Travel as much as required to be successful, estimated up to 50%.
