Director of Sales – Legal AI Startup (Remote)  

Pay: $180K–$220K Base + Commission + Bonuses + Equity  

  

Are you a proven sales leader with a passion for legal technology and a true hunter mentality? We are partnering with an innovative Legal AI start-up that's reshaping the legal industry with custom AI solutions and streamlined workflow software. They're rapidly growing and looking for a Director of Sales to build and lead a high-performing sales organization from the ground up.

Our client is at the forefront of legal technology innovation, designing AI-driven tools that transform traditional legal workflows and seamlessly integrate with existing systems. Backed by strong investors and industry leaders, they're poised for significant growth — and they need a sales leader who can help them scale.  

  

The Role:  

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, expanding client relationships, and building a world-class sales team. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the sales strategy, set the culture, and make a real impact in a dynamic, early-stage environment.  

  

Responsibilities:  

  • Drive net-new business and aggressively grow the client base  
  • Lead and execute the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing  
  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team  
  • Develop sales training programs and scalable sales processes  
  • Work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to align go-to-market strategies  
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings  

  

Requirements:  

  • 7+ years of experience selling legal technology solutions or services  
  • Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets  
  • Strong "hunter" mentality with the ability to open new doors and drive revenue  
  • Prior experience building and leading a sales team  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment  

  

Compensation & Perks:  

  • $180,000 – $220,000 base salary
