Our client, a Gold Partner Salesforce consultancy company is experiencing tremendous growth. They are seeking a dynamic senior sales leader specializing in Salesforce Consulting to spearhead the growth of their Salesforce consulting services and build out a US team. This role is instrumental in crafting and executing a strategic sales plan aimed at achieving revenue targets, expanding the customer portfolio, and solidifying their position as a Salesforce Consulting firm. As the Director of Sales, you will lead a team of Sales Managers and Executives, cultivating a culture of excellence and innovation as well as be hands on in managing and closing deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy encompassing market analysis, target client identification, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, offering guidance, coaching, and support to facilitate the attainment of individual and team sales objectives.
  • Create a strong pipeline of new business opportunities, must be ok prospecting and closing new business as well as existing.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships by understanding their Salesforce needs, addressing concerns, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth through the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, upselling to existing clients, and venturing into new markets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, emphasizing the value of our Salesforce Consulting services.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely follow-ups, and efficient lead management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and developments in Salesforce technology to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and delivery teams to synchronize sales efforts with service offerings, campaigns, and project delivery timelines.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales campaigns to generate leads and enhance awareness of our client's Salesforce solutions.
  • Create and implement sales training and coaching initiatives for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and delivery, to ensure a streamlined and efficient sales process.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to foster valuable connections.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in developing and closing deals in the Salesforce arena.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Previous experience in Salesforce sales and consulting.
  • Familiarity with diverse industries and Salesforce technologies.
  • Proficiency in building and nurturing client relationships across all levels.
  • Strong customer service acumen.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team of sales representatives.

DOE 140-175k base OTE 250-350k
