Skai is seeking a Director of Sales for our US Independent Agency Team, who will be responsible for generating new revenue, owning existing strategic agency partnerships and driving long-term growth. You will be dedicated to a few select partners across North America. You will report to and partner with the EVP Sales, AMER Independent Agency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for net new sales, customer retention, growth and regional GTM planning
- Manage consistent quality pipeline development, account planning, forecasting, engagement, internal resource utilization and more
- GTM: budget management consisting of client/prospect visits and events, regional conference/event attendance
- Lead sales cycle including negotiation, contract management and pricing along with EVP
- Execute high level business-value-driven sales messaging and campaign management in order to maximize Skai’s opportunities within each account and across your region
- Partner internally with Industry leads, Client Success, Product, Legal and EVP to ensure successful implementations, customer satisfaction, and ongoing partnership with Agency clients
- Participate in product strategy definition with Product team, your voice will be heard
What you'll bring to the table:
- Solid experience. Minimum 5+ years of AdTech, online sales management experience, with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals, delivering significant revenue and customer growth
- Documented success in SaaS, digital media, or enterprise software sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in Agency sales and be highly successful at running consultative sales processes in small to large complex agency organizations.
- Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior management of prospect organization.
- Vision, Belief and Commitment. We are looking for uncommonly good sales professionals with a highly collaborative, value-driven, honest, and direct approach to delivering customer success
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to persuade, lead, and confidently handle objections and resolve customer issues
- High integrity, humility and entrepreneurial thinking
- Creative and strategic thinking skills are essential. The role is charged with building strategic, long-term partnerships with digital marketing agencies. Being able to think on your feet and to get creative about building customer solutions is one of the key factors in your success at Skai. Demonstrate your ability to develop creative sponsorships and integrated marketing solutions that will help marketers achieve their strategic goals

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $135,000 base plus strong commission plan and equity. The actual salary amount will vary depending on the applicants experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data.
