Job Description

In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

The Embedded Solutions team is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to design and implement Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines using GitHub runners for the team. Your goal is to design, implement, and maintain seamless integration and efficient workflows for our FPGA design and embedded software projects like Linux, Zephyr, Uboot, Yocto. In addition, you will drive the definition and implementation of next generation code signing technologies for our firmware projects. Beyond DevOps, you will be a part of the product development team working on solutions for our customers where you will have a role in implementing embedded software or FPGA designs. In this capacity you will use the devops technologies you built.

The role requires a self-starter with strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, and pathfinding skills along with a broad understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools and experience in Python.


You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications

  •  5+ years of engineering experience in FPGA/SASIC design tools, embedded software development, FW (Firmware) development, or digital design.
  • 2 years of DevOps engineer.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00

  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
