Job Purpose and Impact

The Global Digital Commercial Lead Cargill Aqua Nutrition Salmon species will lead and develop strategy and processes, collaborate with sales teams to achieve Cargill Digital Solutions portfolio for salmon aqua nutrition and farm management adoption growth, leading to incremental margin for Cargill Aqua Nutrition (CQN) organization or via direct fees on digital-only sales or bundled/hybrid models with physical nutrition products and services. In this role, you will provide strategic vision and tactical direction and represent the organization working side by side with CQN strategic marketing and commercial teams in promoting and selling digital solutions products and services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, organize, and support execution of innovation, sales projects, and activities related to Digital Solutions.
  • Engage in business development activities with potential business partners.
  • Plan, develop and deliver the marketing and pricing strategy for products, services, and associated brands.
  • Evaluate market potential for digital offerings.
  • Identify potential customers and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience in the salmon production industry.
  • Open to travel up to 15-20%.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in aqua nutrition or science.
  • Fluency in Norwegian language
  • Proven business experience in value-added solutions in the salmon production industry.
  • Partners with the other teams to develop a strong opportunities pipeline and is a strategic contributor in the commercialization process to make recommendations on advancing new projects based on the business case.
  • Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
  • Growth Mentality – sees challenges as opportunities and strives to find solutions that create stakeholder success.
  • Develops and delivers multimode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Ensures team-spirit and collaboration within the team and with other functions.
  • Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. Provides direction, delegating and removing obstacles to get work done.
