Position Overview:

ASI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Global Sales to lead our sales team towards global expansion and enhance our sales practices. This pivotal role involves refining current sales strategies, spearheading the team of five sales professionals, and collaborating closely with the marketing department to streamline the sales process. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving ASI’s growth and market presence worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team of 5, fostering a culture of success and collaboration. Assess team performance as a whole and develop strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Strategy & Execution: Refine and implement effective sales strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets. Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts, optimizing the sales funnel for efficiency.

  • Global Expansion: Spearhead initiatives for ASI's expansion into new markets, identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth.

  • Talent Management: Responsible for the hiring and firing within the sales team, ensuring the team is composed of high-caliber talent capable of meeting ASI’s ambitious goals.

  • Conference Management: Organize and manage participation in industry conferences, enhancing ASI's visibility and network.

  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key sales metrics, ensuring the team's performance aligns with ASI’s strategic objectives.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly under the CFO, providing regular updates on sales progress and strategizing on long-term sales objectives.

  • Software Knowledge: While knowledge of hotel software is a plus, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to ASI’s offerings is essential.

  • Customer Success: Collaborate closely with support teams to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and renewal. Champion a customer-centric approach to sales, prioritizing long-term relationships and delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in sales, with a track record of successfully managing teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong strategic thinking and an aggressive approach to business growth.
  • Experience with global market expansion and strategic sales planning.
  • Proficient in CRM software, preferably HubSpot.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, meetings, and client engagements.
  • Background in hotel management software sales is a plus, but not required.
  • Quick learner with the ability to onboard and adapt swiftly to ASI’s products and processes.
