We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SDR & SMB Leader to join our North America Senior Leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and guiding a high-performing Leadership team for Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Small and Medium Business (SMB) Reps. You will play a vital role in developing strategies to drive growth, improve sales processes, and enhance team performance while aligning with Shopify's overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the SaaS or e-commerce sectors.
- Proven track record of developing high-performing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional collaborations.
- A passion for sales excellence and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
You'll be working on things like:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SDR and SMB leaders to achieve strategic sales goals.
- Establish and communicate clear performance expectations for the team, enhancing accountability and ownership.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to set sales strategies and initiatives in alignment with company goals.
- Analyze key metrics and performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for continued improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development experiences for your team, ensuring they stay equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices in sales tactics, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Promote a data-driven decision-making environment, utilizing analytics to inform strategy and execution.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including marketing and product teams, to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and customer needs.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the team, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
