The Role:

This role is all about driving results. As our Implementation Manager, you’ll own the execution of workflow and systems builds that directly impact client success. You’ll lead projects from kickoff through completion—tracking milestones, troubleshooting blockers, and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and with excellence.

Using tools like LeadSimple, Aptly, and Zapier, you’ll translate ideas into systems that solve real business problems. You’ll collaborate with both internal team members and clients to scope, build, and refine processes that are efficient, scalable, and user-friendly.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, startup-style environment, has a sharp eye for detail, and gets real satisfaction from solving operational puzzles. You'll follow a 90-day onboarding plan with increasing ownership and responsibility as your skills grow.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Project Outcomes: Manage implementation projects from start to finish. Set timelines, define deliverables, and track progress to ensure successful rollouts of client workflows and systems.
  • Learn Our Tools & Systems: Build a deep understanding of Aptly, LeadSimple, and Zapier through internal training, hands-on experimentation, and guided learning. You’ll be expected to complete tool-specific training and document key insights along the way.
  • Shadow & Analyze: Attend client calls and team trainings to observe how we approach problem-solving, ask the right questions, and identify opportunities for process improvements. You’ll begin contributing insights based on observed pain points.
  • Build & Test Workflows: Create sample processes using dummy or real data, design and test Zapier automations, and begin refining your ability to troubleshoot logic errors and naming conventions. Strong documentation and clear logic flow are key.
  • Collaborate & Compare: Work side-by-side with the PM PathBuilders team on mock or real builds. Compare results, receive peer reviews, and adjust based on feedback. You’ll learn how to balance flexibility with system integrity.
  • Communicate With Confidence: Begin participating in client communications—first as an observer, then as a contributor, and eventually as a lead on specific implementation sections. You’ll be responsible for translating client goals into practical workflow solutions.
  • QA & Iterate: Review call recordings and processes for inconsistencies, bugs, or missed steps. Participate in internal quality assurance by testing builds and documenting fixes or adjustments.

Who You Are:

  • Self-Motivated: You take initiative, manage your time well, and can drive a project forward with minimal oversight.
  • Systems-Oriented: You enjoy mapping out how things work, spotting inefficiencies, and improving processes with structure and logic. You have experience building task management systems.
  • Curious Learner: You love diving into new tools, asking thoughtful questions, and aren’t afraid to explore unfamiliar software or systems.
  • Detail-Driven: You care about getting things right—whether it's building a Zapier automation or naming a workflow in a way that makes sense long-term.
  • Clear Communicator: You can explain complex ideas simply and write documentation that others can easily follow.
  • Tech-Comfortable: You’re confident navigating tech tools like Zapier, project management platforms, and automation software—even if you're not an "engineer."
  • Team Player in a Remote World: You thrive in a collaborative virtual environment and have a reliable computer and internet setup to support it.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in operational systems and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with Zapier, LeadSimple, or Aptly is a plus (not required at start)
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Clear communicator with strong documentation habits
  • Experience with property management, SaaS, or implementation is a bonus
