About The Role & Team

Univision is seeking a Manager to Manage the Single Market / Multi Market Sales and Research team. Analyze, develop, maintain and support business applications for the Single Market / Multi Market Sales and Research Departments.

​

All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

​

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

​

• Analyze Business requirements and develop applications (Sales, Posting/Pulsing, Research, Ad Hoc reporting)
• Support user issues/questions for the following applications: Strata REpXpress, Strata AEXpress, Strata Station Portal, Strata Multi Market Posting, Strata ePort, Prisma, Matrix, Darwin
• Perform upgrades of new software releases and maintain servers. (Production, QA, DR)
• Work with business and vendors on new business requirements/enhancements for 3rd party software (Strata, Matrix)
• Develop, Maintain and manage Integrations between Traffic systems, Strata and Matrix
• Direct Manager to – AMS Applications Analyst
• Xxxxx
• Application Security issues
• Add/Modify/Delete User Accounts
• Identify Break/Fix Issues
• Application Usage questions
• Test Bug Fixes
• Test New Releases
• Manage/Maintain Servers (upgrades, installations, etc)
• Analysis & Design of small-scale Apps/Scripts
• Development/Maintenance of small-scale Apps/Scripts
• Routine Data Maintenance
• Work with Engineering to set up new environments
• Regulate Vendor access to Univision servers
• Gather Business requirements from users
• Analyze Business requirements
• New Software Evaluation
• Work with Product Owners on new business requirements/enhancements
• Work with Vendors on new business requirements/enhancements
• Work with Development Analysts on new business requirements/enhancements
• Work with Support Analysts on Bug Fix/New Release Requirements
• Work with Engineering and Support Analysts to set up new environments
• Work with DBA Group to setup/Maintain/Upgrade data structures
• Project Planning/Coordinating
• Work with Product Owners on Bug Fix/New Releases
• Maintain Audit Data and Approvals
• Coordinate User Testing/Analyst Testing for New Releases and Bug Fixes
• System Test New Releases and Bug Fixes
• Oversee/coordinate Software Upgrades for New Releases and Bug Fixes
• Run Maintenance Reports
• Maintain Analysis Data
• User/ETS Group Notification of Upgrades/Fixes
• Follow all SDLC practices

Decision Making Responsibility

​

• Responsible for decisions for team personnel; and Work assignments for team
• Data source for projects
• Specific upgrades/enhancement decisions regarding vendors
• Specific upgrades/enhancements to System Integration Scripts

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

​

• Bachelor’s degree in xxxxx
• x+ yrs. In xxxx
• Knowledge of Sales / Research Systems for Univision,
• Visual Basic, MS Office, MS Access, SQL; MS SQL Server, VBScript, DOS, PowerShell
• Other skills?
• Problem solving and priority setting
• Strong verbal and analytical skills required with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with team
