Presales Demo Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive Customer-Centric Discovery: Participate in discovery calls and workshops to deeply understand customer requirements and tailor product demos that address their specific challenges.
• Deliver Engaging, High-Impact Demos: Lead and deliver tailored product demonstrations that resonate with customer pain points in supply chain management, showcasing the measurable impact of on cost savings, eLiciency, and operational agility.
• Master Storytelling: Through a consultative approach use industry knowledge and best practices, coupled with knowledge of solutions, craft compelling narratives that connect product capabilities with the customer’s unique business challenges, highlighting real-world case studies and measurable outcomes.
• Leverage Technical Acumen for Customer Success: Utilize your understanding of enterprise software tools (SAP, WMS, BI, Planning) to adapt demos to complex customer landscapes, showing how integrates with and improves existing systems.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure demos reflect up-to-date product features, customer needs, and market trends.
• Product Knowledge and Demo readiness: Keep abreast of new product releases and features for assigned product(s), through regular communication with product management; identify where these changes may impact demo systems
• Provide Continuous Feedback: Contribute valuable insights into how the product can be refined, keeping demos relevant and aligned with customer expectations.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in presales, sales support, business analysis, or similar roles in SaaS, software, or tech environments.
• Proven expertise in supply chain processes (inventory optimization, demand planning, procurement, etc.) and familiarity with enterprise tools such as SAP, WMS, and BI/Reporting.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills: Ability to turn complex technical concepts into clear, impactful stories that align with customer business goals.
• Technical Acumen: Comfort with understanding and demonstrating the integration within complex IT ecosystems.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Capacity to think on your feet, adapt to changing requirements, and handle live objections or technical questions during demos.
• Experience with Demo Tools and CRM platforms such as Demostack, Salesforce, or similar tools is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German or other European languages is a plus.
• Experience in SaaS or cloud-based solutions is highly desirable.
