VerTalents is supporting the search for a seasoned sales professional with deep experience in cybersecurity and strong relationships in the financial services sector. We're looking for a Regional Sales Director to drive new business growth, build lasting partnerships, and lead strategic sales efforts in one of the most critical and regulated industries today.
What You’ll Do
- Build and grow a high-value client base in the financial services sector with a strong focus on new logo acquisition.
- Prospect, engage, and develop relationships within key financial accounts, understanding their unique challenges and regulatory needs.
- Lead technical and business discovery conversations, addressing concerns and aligning with stakeholder priorities.
- Create, present, and negotiate compelling proposals, contracts, and statements of work tailored to C-level decision-makers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales engineers, marketing, product, and legal teams to advance deal cycles.
- Leverage and grow partnerships with channel resellers and technology integration partners.
What You’ll Need
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, specifically selling SaaS cybersecurity solutions to financial services organizations (ideal: application security or penetration testing experience).
- Demonstrated ownership and execution of the entire sales lifecycle with a hunter mentality and consistent track record of exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders, including the C-suite.
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset in building and managing your territory from the ground up.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience developing and managing relationships with resellers and integration partners to expand reach and close deals efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity trends, financial compliance standards, and data protection mandates (e.g., FFIEC, GLBA, NYDFS).
- Familiarity with enterprise sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales enablement platforms.
