Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Enablement Director to support the Sales team and the Vice President of Sales in delivering the sales strategy and ultimately the revenue target for Diaceutics.

The Sales Enablement Director will work cross functionally to develop and deliver a sales enablement strategy that supports building the skills and knowledge of the commercial team; enhanced with coaching and mentoring plans. The Sales Enablement Director will evaluate and adjust strategies to support the needs of the team and the wider business.

The Sales Enablement Director will bring a strong understanding of the sales process and methodologies and will be experienced in using data to drive strategic initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the VP Sales and the Senior Client Director team in guiding the commercial teams to meet sales targets and support business objectives
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes, building on the SPIN and Miller Heiman methodologies.
  • Lead and oversee the creation of sales training and development programs in conjunction with other key stakeholders / teams across the wider company
  • Collaborate with the Product and Marketing Teams to understand product plans and market trends and to support launch planning and growth strategies
  • Support the creation and implementation of strategic client plans to identify future business development opportunities, demonstrating in depth knowledge of company pipelines, emerging biomarkers and commercialization challenges.
  • Support the Sales Team in the development of proposals with clear definition on scope, client key expectations, business case and success criteria.
  • Take an active role in coaching and mentoring the Sales Team with the support of the Senior Client Directors, embedding our Sales Methodologies (SPIN and Miller Heiman) in order to drive pipeline growth.
  • Work with the wider company to develop and deliver a quarterly and annual co-ordinated training package to support skills and knowledge development within the Sales Team.
  • Support the use of relationship and lead/contact database tools within the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and make necessary improvements
  • Promote employee development, management, coaching and discipline in the workplace; work with the Senior Client Directors to support the Individual Development Plans (IDP) as part of the annual Performance Management Framework (PMF)
  • Promote Diaceutics’ culture and philosophy.

Ability to set priorities and problem-solve, while working under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Able to accomplish the work and meet targets through others. Demonstrated ability to determine root cause findings and take corrective actions
  • Initiative and Independence: Implement and develop new ideas and practices that may influence the work of the wider team, with forward planning of results driven projects and effective management of own workload: ability to work a flexible schedule to ensure efficient work completion when necessary

Knowledge and Specialist Skills:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree required in life sciences, business administration, economics, statistics, computer science or a related field. MBA or higher degrees are preferred.
  • Experience – Min 3-5 years of sales experience in business to business sales, pharmaceutical or biotech industry, life sciences consulting or data services.
  • Experience in training, coaching and mentoring
  • Experience in Healthcare, medical device, or in vitro diagnostics and or consulting is desired

General Education and Experience:

  • Computer and Software Knowledge and Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skilled user Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce would be an advantage.
