Our client, a high-tech 1 of a kind cloud optimization platform is seeking their foundational SE (pre & post-sale) to join the team.

Over 30% of cloud spend is considered waste. With cloud spend being the second largest expense to Enterprise organizations, their innovative solution is revolutionizing the way FinOps & Engineering teams optimize their cloud. 

They are looking for a start-up-minded Enterprise Sales Engineer who will work hands-on with prospects and customers to showcase the value of their platform from demo to POC as well as implementation and continued customer success. From high-level disco calls to solving customer issues & keeping a strong understanding of competitive tech to best position the company to Enterprises. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to communicate the vision, value prop, and strategy to Enterprise customers
  • Specifically act as a liaison to the engineering team for anything technically related that requires escalation
  • Be a genuine, high EQ representation of the company
  • Help qualify leads and nurture them into high-value opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, business development, engineering, marketing, product management and research teams
  • Become an expert on the companies product and be comfortable learning new technical concepts and challenges quickly
  • Contribute to the enablement of the sales team as a whole and ideate strategies/best practices around their sales process
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers and internal teams regarding product feedback and enhancements
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities 

Qualifications

  • A strong technical background with 5+ years of industry experience and a minimum of 3 years in a Sales/Solutions Engineering capacity for Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or B2B SaaS
  • Technically minded, with deep exposure to services and products on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (cloud practitioner certifications are a plus)
  • Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply solutions
  • Experience with enterprise sales processes
  • Experience with supporting technical personas
  • A highly organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven individual with a bias for action
  • Polished and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving team environment
