…What will you contribute?

Working as part of the sales team, you will provide support to the sales process through delivery of solution demonstrations and providing subject matter expertise in the proposal process and other pre-sales activities. Maintain and enhance the demonstration environment to maximize efficacy of use case scenarios and in-depth examples.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

Your deliverables as a Solutions Consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Proactively engage with the digital sales teams, customers and prospects to drive business opportunities in the region including new sales, cross-sales, and/or upgrades. 
  • Collaborate with digital sales representatives throughout the sales lifecycle which may include exploratory meetings, demonstrations, workshops, system audits and gap analysis to assure consistency of messages.
  • Participate in virtual discovery sessions with new sales opportunities and/or existing client base.
  • Virtual solution demonstrations for new sales opportunities and/or within the existing client base.
  • Function as subject matter expert in the preparation of request for proposals and other information requests
  • May maintain and update demonstration environment to ensure complete and accurate data, accounts, product set, and system parameters.
  • Develop and update presentation scripts to stay current with product functionality, value proposition and strategic differentiators.
  • Responsible to keep up to date with all product roadmaps, with the ability to articulate which features are coming with the next Product Release and discuss Roadmap items.
  • Incorporate knowledge of competitive strengths and weaknesses into solution demonstrations.
  • Solves problems in a variety of situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgement, and precedents.
  • Educate sales and sales operation team members on product functionality as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills Required

  • Knowledge of financial institution operations 
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to engage financial institution executives.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years' experience working in a financial institution or financial software provider (preferably LaserPro)
  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending or mortgage servicing (preferable MortgageBot)
  • Sales demonstrations of financial services software preferred.

Education/Certifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Formal training in presentation skills preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to receive, express, or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication.
  • Ability to see and operate a computer.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of weight (laptop, projector, suitcase, etc.).

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a general office environment.
  • 10% travel required.
