Summary:

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to become part of our team. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of SaaS tools and platforms and will work with the Production team to assist with different technical scenarios and design innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to influence product roadmaps based on market/customer requirements.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Managed Services Teams as the technical liaison to deliver projects, drive adoption, minimize churn, and drive renewals.
  • Design, build and implement custom solutions to process large amounts of data.
  • Assist Project Managers in developing project schedules and budget.
  • Provide technical recommendations as a “trusted advisor” to internal and external stakeholders with a “customer first” mentality.
  • Provide daily, project-based technical support to production and sales departments.
  • Facilitate company-wide technology rollouts.
  • Analysis of websites and applications for localization potential, identifying key points to be considered during the localization process.
  • Automation of file analysis, parsing, and filtering.
  • Write scripts and macros in various programming languages to automate repetitive tasks performed by project managers.
  • Prepare multiple file types for the localization process (including re-coding and script writing as needed) to ensure compliance with client's requirements and integrity of data.
  • Collaborate with project managers, internal sales, and customers to provide input during pre-sale planning of projects and enterprise engagements.
  • Provide quotes on new, large-scale projects for sales and production upon request.
  • Define processes, select tools and contribute with knowledge management in the creations of SOPs.
  • Work with testers and linguists to resolve issues during testing.
  • Automate the workflow processes, drive, implement and document the best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to relate complicated concepts to both non-technical and technical audiences.
  • Minimum 3 years of implementation experience in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Ability to break down complex problems and resolve them through customer consultation and execution.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities, respond promptly and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • BS. in Computer Science.
  • Experience building Executive-level and customer-facing dashboards and analysis.
  • Avid curiosity and desire to improve processes.
  • Demonstrable understanding of Localization, Internationalization, and Globalization.
  • Knowledge and experience with world languages.
  • Problem solver, fast learner of new tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of testing concepts.
  • Foreign language skills and experience with double-byte/bidirectional languages are highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of scripting and coding, database querying, and web development (e.g. Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL) are desirable.
