About The Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical resource for our Sales and Customer Success teams, providing expert product guidance and support to help drive customer satisfaction and success. You will collaborate closely with Sales to understand customer requirements, conduct technical product demonstrations, and develop customized solutions tailored to meet each customer's unique needs. Additionally, you'll work alongside our Customer Success team to support existing Consultation Manager customers, define technical solutions to improve their experience, and support the successful implementation and adoption of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales team to understand customer needs, objectives, and technical requirements, and develop tailored solutions and proposals to address them. 
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, capabilities, and value proposition of our solutions to prospective customers. 
  • Partner with Sales and CX to drive net new and expansion sales revenue. 
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to provide feedback on customer requirements, market trends, and product enhancements to inform product roadmap decisions. 
  • Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert to support the Customer Success team in risk mitigation scenarios, defining technical solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of our solutions. 
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including responding to technical inquiries, conducting solution assessments, and assisting with proof-of-concept implementations. 
  • Leverage product expertise to contribute to technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, integration guides, and best practices, to support Sales, Customer Success, and customers. 
  • Leverage product expertise to help support the RFQ/RFP process and training efforts for other internal staff. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to continuously enhance your technical expertise and provide strategic insights to internal teams. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success teams to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment. 
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in understanding complex software solutions, APIs, and integrations. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. 
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and driving customer success. 
  • Experience with CRM systems, collaboration tools, and technical support platforms is preferred. 
  • A willingness to travel for customer meetings, presentations, and industry events, as needed. 
  • Experience in working with Government customers is preferred.
