About The Role
In this role you’ll serve as Chief of Staff, ensuring operational excellence for the Chief Investment Officer and their leadership team, helping execute on strategic priorities that span across the entire investment function, and working closely with the CIO and the entire leadership team to define, track, and drive priorities that will change the future of Opendoor.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Strategic PlanningProvide thought partnership to CIO and Investment organization leadership on matters of strategy, team effectiveness, and operationsDrive planning for key investment initiatives – scope, timing, resource needs, etc.Serve as a key partner of the CIO’s organization to the company’s broader functions such as Technology, HR, and FinanceAct as an extension of the CIO, where appropriateTalent and CulturePartner with Investment organization leadership to help determine talent needs, assess current talent, and organize the teamCollaborate with the internal recruiting function to drive hiring activity for all teams under the CIO’s organizationLead Investment team on-boarding and trainingDrive team-wide objective setting and performance evaluation in coordination with the company’s talent management processesMentor key leaders within the investment organizationProject ManagementEnsure people, process and technology investments support the advancement of organization's mission and visionProvide planning and project management resources to the teams within the Investment organizationOversee Budgeting, data on-boarding, IP and data/documentation management, and permissioningTranslating the output of the planning processes into action-orientated plans for each of the responsible leadersFollow up and hold all leaders accountable for the outcomes/ deliverablesOperational ProcessImprove current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivityDevelop agendas and materials for executive meetings; track next steps and follow-ups to completionCreate high quality presentations for executive leadership and other audiencesManage internal change-management
We’re Looking For Teammates Who Have
10+ years as an Organizational Strategist with BA/BS or equivalentOverseen business initiatives from development through successful executionDefined new operational strategies, working with senior leaders on special projectsOutstanding facilitation, collaboration, and influencing skillsElevated levels of professional confidence, business acumen, and relationship-buildingEffective communication skills and executive presentation development and delivery skillsBeen deeply involved running both internal and external communicationsWorked to promote a culture of transparency, connection, and positive recognition
Investment and/or Finance background in a tech environment, strongly preferredManagement Consulting experience, strongly preferredExpert knowledge of G-Suite and all associated applications
