 Job Title: Epic Change Management Lead

 Location: Remote with some travel to client site.

 Job Type: Full-time/Contract

 Introduction:

As a key member of our Epic EHR implementation team, the Epic Change Management Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and successful adoption of the Epic system across our healthcare enterprise. This strategic position focuses on leading change management activities related to workflow, system, and process changes, facilitating a seamless transition for all stakeholders involved.

 Key Responsibilities:

  •  Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for the Epic EHR implementation, focusing on stakeholder engagement, communication, and training. 
  •  Collaborate with project managers, IT leaders, and clinical directors to assess the impact of changes brought by the Epic implementation on current processes and workflows. 
  •  Design and deliver effective communication strategies to enhance transparency and keep all stakeholders informed about project updates, changes, and expectations. 
  •  Lead the development and execution of engagement strategies to ensure high adoption and minimal resistance, including feedback loops and adaptation strategies. 
  •  Coordinate with the training team to align educational initiatives with change management goals. 
  •  Facilitate change management workshops and sessions for various user groups to address concerns and gather insights for continuous improvement. 
  •  Establish and monitor metrics to track the effectiveness of change management activities, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success. 
  •  Serve as a key liaison between users and project teams, ensuring that user feedback is integrated into project planning and execution. 
  •  Provide support and guidance to leadership on change management best practices and strategies for maintaining morale and productivity during transitions. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, IT, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in change management within large-scale healthcare IT projects, preferably involving Epic EHR systems. 
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders at all organizational levels. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive change across organizational boundaries. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capacity to understand the broader picture while also attending to detailed project components. 
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field. 
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or similar certification. 
  • Experience in clinical operations or healthcare management. 
  • Familiarity with Epic systems and healthcare IT infrastructure.
