Hierarchy and interactions

· Reporting to the Pre Sales Manager

· Typically interacts with other teams including: Sales, Account managers, Product management, product marketing, customer success, support and engineering.

Missions 

As part of the Pre sales Department, you will act as a Pre-Sales Engineer, supporting sales representatives in their sales cycles with food retailers (wholesalers, caterers, etc.), manufacturers and food services providers.

You will take part in sales cycles throughout Europe: opportunity qualification, RFP/RFI management, product demonstration and customer workshop management. 

You will work in close collaboration with the various sales representatives in the different regions in order to demonstrate Trace One PLM value and transform our technical solution into a Business value for our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Develop and enhance pre-sales strategies in collaboration with sales representatives by analyzing customer needs and defining the most appropriate Trace One solution according to the prospect’s needs.

· Demonstrate Trace One solutions internally and externally.

· Ensure the adoption of our customers during various meetings with your prospects and represent the company at seminars, conferences, trade shows (virtual and physical)

· Manage and update Pre sales tools: presentations decks, demo environment, RFP/RFI database

· Act as an expert within the team as you’ll be the technical and product expert. 

· Management of RFI/RFP with sales representative: analysis, answer, and follow-up

· Collaboration with the product teams in drawing up the roadmap or specifying new functionalities, using your feedback from prospects and customers.

Qualifications:

· Graduated from a master’s degree in quality management, product management or food safety. You have between 3- and 5-years’ experience, either as a quality engineer, product manager, R&D engineer in the retail, manufacturing industry (Fast-moving consumer goods) or food services or as a pre-sales engineer in the Saas software field.

· Bilingual in English and French, knowledge of German is a plus.

· Perfectly at ease with the world of software and IT.

· Familiar with the retail and private label sector, as well as with the development cycle of CPG products, and with PLM solutions

As a Pre sales, you’ll:

· Be highly self-motivated as well as the ability to collaborate with a team.

· Have an in-depth knowledge about the food, retail or FMCG industry processes.

· Feel comfortable presenting. 

· Have excellent organization and time management.

· Be Resourcefulness, adaptability and creative thinking.
