As a Pre-Sales Engineer at Orbus Software, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by collaborating closely with the sales team. You’ll be the technical expert, engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrating the value of Orbus Software’s solutions. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling presentations and proposals will be essential in not just sealing deals but play a vital role in long term customer success.

Preference will be given to an experienced pre-sales with expertise in one or more of the core Orbus offering areas: Business Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management, Business Process Analysis, and customisation of Microsoft technology based solutions range including , Visio, PowerBI, SharePoint, MS Forms, PowerAutoMate etc.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Joint workshops/ meetings with sales teams and potential clients to understand their requirements and pain points Explain the value proposition of Orbus Software’s products and services.
  • Presentations and Demos: Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and current clients.
  • Subject matter expert, mentoring prospects through their journey in Business Transformation, Enterprise Architecture and Business Process evaluation initiatives;
  • Building tailored ‘Proof of Concept’ (POC) evaluations for Potential customers; configuring and customizing Orbus product and solutions in line with customer evaluation and success criteria requirements;
  • Running a number of training courses and building custom training material tailored to specific customer usage;
  • OrbusInfinity user training
  • OrbusInfinity Administrator training
  • Train the Trainer courses
  • OrbusInfinity report development and integration training
  • Online webinars to customers globally on OrbusInfinity good practice with focus on EA, BPA and APM topics;
  • Work closely with Sales team to build attractive proposal response to RFXs’
  • Sales Support: work closely with Sales Rep. in pipeline management for prospects across NAM– regular , visits to prospects, phone calls, ad-hoc training, Q&A sessions, roadmap presentations;
  • Solution development: assisting the product development team in the development of new value-add accelerators for the OrbusInfinity product range;
  • Customization: support PowerBI Report Development for custom deliverables;Import Stylesheet development and API (Swagger and JSON) configuration for data import / synchronization;
  • Ensuring the Orbus CRM is kept updated by tagging all correspondence with prospects
  • Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of Orbus Software’s offerings, staying informed about updates and enhancements & positioning
  • Liaison: Act as a bridge between sales/business development and other internal Orbus teams including product, engineering, security, professional services teams.

Requirements:

  • 1- 2 years’ experience in Technical Sales/ Pre-sales role
  • Motivation to meet tight deadlines and to perform individually whilst working as part of NAM sales team;
  • Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate value proposition to customers through consulting services engagements;
  • Ability to absorb technical information and communicate this clearly to varied business audience;
  • Up to 50% travel as part of onsite pre-sales engagements
  • Proficiency in English and another European Language
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Sciences, Maths related field of study or equivalent;
  • Demonstrable pre-sales experience working in a fast-tracked organization or with an Enterprise software vendor;
  • Proficient in MS Visio and all MS Applications including Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint Apps, PowerAutoMate;
  • One or more relevant professional certifications i.e. TOGAF, ArchiMate, COBIT, ITIL, Open CA, EACOE etc.
