Logiq Consulting are Cyber Security and Information Assurance experts who specialise in providing leading edge consultation to our clients, as well as delivering a range of managed security services and products throughout the Private and Public Sector.

Logiq balances bespoke cyber security solutions with the needs of the organisation. We employ Agile methodology depending on the size, scale, and pace of transformation but, where employed, our in-house Agile experts ensure value is delivered at all stages of the transformation lifecycle. Drawing on our expert management of complex security needs in the Defence arena, Logiq provides effective solutions to all clients where security is a significant concern.

The Role

Due to both the structure of our business and strength of our brand, Logiq has be able to successfully grow and secure a stable footing within the defence sector which we are really proud of – however, we are now ready to take on a new challenge! With increasing success we seek to push ourselves as a business into new Government sectors such as (but not limited to) the Home Office, Foreign Office, Department for Education, HMRC, MI5 & MI6, the Cabinet Office, NHS and many other arising areas where Cyber Security is at the forefront of protecting complex organizations in modern times.

It is important to note that this role also has the potential to grow into both a more strategic position offering insight and direction to the business as a whole as well as one that may require your mentoring skills as the team may grow around you.

About You

We are seeking a highly capable candidate with a proven background in a Sales / Business Development environment with a wealth of knowledge and contacts in our target markets to integrate seamlessly into our business. You will be a comfortable self-starter who is used to winning business at both a high level and high value. The ambition is a mix of small quick wins, but with the overall focus and strategic direction of longer-term relationships with large value wins. We see the challenge of contributing to building a new sector of business within Logiq Consulting, that will ultimately have similar scale as our defense sector, as an exciting one for the right individual and team.

Ideally, you will be a specialist working in one of the discussed areas (Home Office, Foreign Office, Department for Education, HMRC, MI5 & MI6, the Cabinet Office, NHS) so you may bring a wealth of knowledge and contacts for a comfortable integration into our business.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop and drive forward Logiq's Key Account Sales Strategy into new central Government departments ultimately winning in excess of £3m contracted within the first 2 years.
  • Engage in relationships and monitor emerging market trends, identifying a book of business in new and existing sectors.
  • Nurture new relationships and Account Manage your own client base.
  • Become a knowledge expert for Logiq Consulting, understanding our many functions and offerings.
  • Build a collaborative relationship with current account managers and wider teams to encompass our core values of working together in an innovative manner while exploring the markets and opportunities.
  • Attend trade events to promote Logiq Consulting.
  • Build a strong pipeline of commercial relationships keeping accurate projections to support company forecasting.

Experience

  • Proven history of running complex framework and bid processes desk (preferably with a Cyber Security Consultancy or similar).
  • Experience of working within and successfully winning new consulting contracts in central Government Departments outside of Defence.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with evidence of strong sales discipline.
  • An ability to present confidently and persuasively and to build strong relationships. Evidence of exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed, and professional. Must demonstrate flexibility and integrity.

(Previous experience working with UK defense suppliers and other highly regulated sectors is a significant advantage.)
