Job Summary

The Sage Intacct Implementation Manager will play a vital role in providing exceptional client service, as well as in growth efforts, and coaching team members. We seek an innovative team member who is passionate about expanding the reach of the practice, and the success of our people and customers. As a leader, you will serve as the Sage Intacct expert, guiding our AAS customers through implementation, conversion, and training processes across diverse industries, geographies, and business life cycles. Responsibilities

  • Proven track record to implement end to end new SAGE Intacct instances and Intuit (QBD & QBO) conversions to Intacct.
  • Minimum experience leading at least 10 full-cycle Sage Intacct implementation projects including data migrations and relevant configurations.
  • Experience scoping needs for Intacct, pricing for setup/data migration, and timeline.
  • Understanding of customers’ needs in Sage Intacct, proactively gathering information to learn about their requirements and expectations.
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of customers, providing oversight to project managers regarding quality, timeliness, and customer experience.
  • Includes anticipating issues/complications, aligning expectations with client and client service team, time management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
  • Desire and passion for educating and training internal and external parties’ functionality of Sage Intacct.
  • This includes internally developing others to facilitate scoping, quoting, and executing of the configuration and data migrations within expected timelines.
  • Intrinsic motivation to be knowledgeable of current on product changes and proactively educating customers and team members on updates through internal and external presentations or webinars.
  • Provide oversight, mentoring, risk management, and quality control for the team.
  • Collaborate across internal teams and with customers in a trusted advisory relationship for their business decisions’ success.
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Requirements

  • Implementation Certified SAGE Intacct Accounting Specialist.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business technology field.
  • A seasoned professional with a blend of 6+ years of experience working directly with Sage Intacct in accounting system implementations and conversions.
  • A natural inclination toward relationship building.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in setting expectations.
  • Passion for developing team members.
  • The ability to learn about our firm’s service offerings to identify areas our customers have needs and how we can support those needs.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented. Experience connecting business systems to each other.
  • Excited about being at the forefront of new BI and AI tools, and then having the motivation to learn how to use them.
  • Has played an integral role at the intersection of technology and accounting in the month-end close and forecasting processes.
  • Occasional travel, by car, may be required.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to build advanced reports and dashboards for customers leveraging Sage Intacct’s reporting tools.
  • Experience and comfort providing demos to customer to showcase Sage Intacct, or willingness to learn.
  • Experience in other Sage Intacct platform integrations.
  • Experience in QBO, QBD, NetSuite, BILL, FP&A tools.
  • CPA
