Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients to produce group and/or convention business
- Developing and managing departmental budget and monitoring sales activities/performance
- Directing scheduling of conventions and group activities
- Completing 25+ solicitation calls per week
- Developing tactical sales and marketing plans
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local community stakeholders
- Documenting sales activities
- Assisting General Manager in developing and updating business plan
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing sales personnel
- Following company policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
