Responsibilities

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon)  is seeking a Senior Sales Enablement Consulting Lead, for the Design & Engineering Segment within our worldwide Portfolio Strategy & Enablement (PSE) group. This is a global role in which the candidate will be instrumental in supporting the strategic direction, positioning, and rollout of Hexagon solutions in the Design & Engineering Portfolio segment globally and across all regions.

Hexagon is the world’s leading provider of enterprise engineering and project performance software, enabling smarter design, construction, and operation of industrial facilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the definition and development of strategy supporting the Design & Engineering Portfolio Segment Go-To-Market packages with emphasis on planning and design phases of projects for the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining, Power, and other market segments to execute Hexagon’s Project growth-oriented business plan globally. The selected candidate will be capable of articulating the business value of processes and technology for the Design & Engineering Portfolio, which serves both Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Owner/Operator sectors in an authentic and enthusiastic way, demonstrating proficiency in solving complex business problems for process-based industries. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts within the Design & Engineering Segment. This position requires a degree of self-direction and decision-making enabling the incumbent to work under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally in support of Hexagon’s Design & Engineering Segment business plan, strategy, and goals.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality Enablement packages, documented in accordance with PSE standards and processes.
  • Respond to available market sizing, market trend analysis and industry research to maintain knowledge of global market conditions related to Large CAP projects for the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining and Power vertical market sectors.
  • Collaborate with Hexagon’s Sales, Pre-Sales and Services teams to develop and influence outcome-based strategies and solutions based on Hexagon software solutions in all applicable vertical sectors.
  • Build standardized business cases for implementing Design & Engineering Segment software solutions.
  • Collaborate with Hexagon Marketing to effectively position Hexagon software solutions in various geographical and vertical markets.
  • Develop and deliver internal sales enablement and training programs for sales and presales consultants, including design and delivery of various tools in accordance with PSE processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in an international organization, including engagement with or support of technologies supporting planning and design phases of projects, preferably in an EPC organization, ideally with customers in the industrial based engineering and construction industries
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proven analytical skills and logical, methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and establish credibility at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Able to travel domestically and globally up to 10%
  • Preferred location Houston, Texas; remote or hybrid-mix
