About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Bodo.ai, you will play a pivotal role in guiding customers to develop and implement robust big data solutions tailored to their specific needs. This role demands comprehensive hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and big data technologies in a customer-facing capacity. Working closely with the Solution Engineering team, you will assist clients in aligning their technical strategies with business goals to enhance the utilization of the Bodo.ai platform. You will serve as a deep go-to expert, offering both technical support and strategic insights to tackle complex challenges within the big data ecosystem. This position reports directo the CEO of the company.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

• Problem Formulation: Translates complex business issues at bodo.ai into data-driven solutions using analytics and data modeling within the Snowflake, AWS and Azure ecosystems.
• Data Strategy: Develops and applies data strategies to address complex business problems across multiple functions or domains at bodo.ai.
• Data Quality Management: Leads initiatives to enhance data quality at bodo.ai, including profiling, analyzing, and continuous monitoring. Manages data quality issues and oversees data cleansing activities to meet bodo.ai’s standards.
• Data Visualization: Designs and implements visual representations of data at bodo.ai, working with UX designers and UI engineers as necessary.
• Applied Business Acumen: Provides actionable recommendations, develops business cases, and translates business requirements into strategic projects at bodo.ai.
• Exploratory Data Analysis: Supports statistical analysis projects, identifies appropriate statistical techniques, and assists in research design and execution at bodo.ai.
• Performance Monitoring and Development: Monitors team performance and supports professional development at bodo.ai. Provides thought leadership and coaching within data engineering.
• Risk and Resource Management: Manages risks, liaises with clients and leadership at bodo.ai on resource planning, and ensures project delivery within scope and timelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Must have experience with at least two end to end implementations of Snowflake data warehouse. At least 3 years of with 3+ years in data warehousing, ETL, and BI projects. Must have executed at least two Snowflake cloud data warehouse implementations and three on-premise implementations (preferably Oracle) tailored for bodo.ai.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Snowflake architecture, including data modeling, ELT, and advanced features like resource monitors and RBAC controls. Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities (SnowSQL, SnowPipe), big data models using Python, and Azure data management technologies tailored to bodo.ai’s needs.
• Data Management: Deep knowledge of RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and performance tuning at bodo.ai. Experience with data migration to Snowflake and understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases tailored for bodo.ai.
• Certifications: Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse Architect certification is desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to troubleshoot cross-domain issues at bodo.ai, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and effective conflict management.
• Additional Technical Skills: Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, Apache Spark, and multiple cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly valued at bodo.ai.
