What you will be doing:

As a Solution Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that clients are optimizing their Acumatica solution as outlined below. You will work collaboratively across the various teams including but not limited to client account management, sales and consulting keeping them abreast of system capabilities and clients’ needs.

Here’s what we need:

Solution Engineer as a Subject Matter Expert

  • Work with clients to optimize their Acumatica environments. Optimizing Acumatica through tools such as dashboards, generic inquiries, business events, notifications, workflow, and consulting customizations.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and exceptional client communication abilities to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed-upon timelines while adhering to billable targets.
  • Complete paid discovery for clients and prospective clients. Work with the Account Executive and Client Account Management team to estimate engagements. Work within a budget to architect a design document that outlines the configuration blueprint for Acumatica.
  • Develop compelling presentations and materials for prospective client meetings and marketing events. This includes, but is not limited to, industry knowledge in distribution, manufacturing, construction, e-commerce, and financials.
  • Focused deep dive demonstrations for prospective Acumatica clients. Effectively run discovery calls to understand large, complex businesses' pain points and needs.
  • Be a certified expert on the Acumatica ERP solution. Additionally, understand the Microsoft product suite (Power Platform, Azure, M365). This includes any software publisher-required certifications to promote and sell a publisher’s product.
  • Entrepreneurial ownership of the Acumatica relationship related to working with portals, training materials, promotions, and technology roadmaps.
  • Update appropriate Crestwood staff members in sales and consulting of system capabilities as they may be pre-released by the software publishers.
  • Build our FastTrack implementation strategy and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Services to strategically build our methodology.
  • Continuously invest time to improve your professional skills via books, seminars, training sessions, etc., as may be suggested by your manager or as you find on your own.

Technical Advisor

  • Establish a demonstration system(s) to be as efficient as possible to educate and illustrate the results a client or prospective client may require.
  • Record and organize interview and discovery notes throughout interactions with prospective clients and maintain those in Crestwood’s CRM for any of our internal staff to review.
  • In the event of a successful new engagement, build the solution document or conduct the internal transition with the Crestwood consulting staff and attend and assist during the client kick-off meeting to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation of the client’s system.
  • Participate in the formation of marketing campaigns and their subsequent execution as may be required, including regular submission of blog posts

Here’s your education, skills, and experience:

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in business, science, or other related discipline.
  • 4 years of experience or more in the business application software industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Acumatica solution design.
  • Worked for a company and used software products like those represented by Crestwood.
