The Company

VP Media Solutions integrates hardware and software solutions for media production, broadcasting, distribution and asset management since 1975. With a key focus on growing their activities and innovation, the company is now looking for a Presales Engineer to strenghten their sales team of 4 people located in Brussels (4 days/week onsite, 1 day work from home).

Your Role

In a very niche market and directly reporting to the CEO (flat structure), your role will be to support the sales team with your expertise of audiovisual technologies, understanding clients technical requirements and translating them to architectural solutions. You are responsible for:

• Providing presales support with technological insights
• Building architectural designs for software media production, post production and distribution platsforms (storage, MAM, PAM, SaaS, OTT)
• Internal innovative product management for SaaS media production platforms
• Contributing to deployment and delivery
• Account management

Requirements

• You have a strong track record of at least 5 years working in a similar role in the media and audiovisual sector
• Media technonologies have no secret for you and you're familiar with concepts such as MAM, PAM, OTT, SMPTE 2110, NMOS, etc.
• You’re fluent in English AND/OR French and Dutch
• You're a flexible and positive team player with good communication skills
• You're solutions oriented with strong analytics skills
• You show a strong will to learn and always keep up with the latest innovations in the industry
