Summary

Our Oracle Partner client is seeking a high-caliber Oracle Sales Director to join the team. They rely heavily on the tenacity and expertise of the sales team to establish brand recognition and expand market presence. Your role will be pivotal in harnessing these resources to secure new business and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a comprehensive suite of sales and marketing tools to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Oracle and potential business clients to secure new leads and business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach in sales strategy, initiating contact with potential clients and effectively managing and expanding a personal sales pipeline.
  • Navigate through sales processes with minimal supervision, actively engaging in business development activities from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a thorough understanding of service offerings and to tailor solutions that meet client needs.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in Oracle sales with substantial experience and understanding of Oracle ERP, databases, and OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Familiarity with cloud migration projects, particularly "lift and shift" strategies.
  • Strong network of contacts and relationships in the industry which can be leveraged to generate new business.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and present comprehensive sales plans from day one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Independent and driven, capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Experience in managing and deploying marketing campaigns using CRM tools.
  • Previous employment at Oracle or an established Oracle partner firm ideal.

Base salary: $100,000 - $110,000 (plus commission)
