Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: National Harbor, MD (Hybrid)

Type: Full Time

Compensation: $80,000 to $120,000, Annually

Cloudforce is seeking a motivated, results-driven, and customer service-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing Sales team. The ideal candidate would have a background working hands-on in the cloud computing space or a depth of knowledge in Microsoft cloud services.

​

Responsibilities:

• Engage with prospective clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, program management) to ensure alignment between pre-sales solutions and project delivery, developing Statements of Work (SOW’s) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS’s).
• Provide technical guidance and advice to clients on Microsoft services, best practices, and implementation strategies.
• Stay current with Microsoft technologies, updates, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to continuously enhance our solution and service offerings.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and fostering confidence in our technical capability, proficiencies and delivery expertise
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on Systems Administration experience in the Microsoft Azure or M365 space.
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and Microsoft services.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the cloud computing industry.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) preferred.
