Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer

About the Role:

We’re looking for an innovative Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to lead the integration of AI and machine learning technologies into modern security solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical foundation in cybersecurity and a passion for applying advanced analytics to detect and respond to sophisticated threats. The engineer will collaborate across teams to design secure systems, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with evolving AI-related security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Lead the integration and management of AI/ML technologies into cybersecurity solutions
•  Ensure compliance with security policies related to AI, including secure development and vulnerability management
•  Support risk assessments, audits, incident response exercises, and program development involving AI systems
•  Establish secure development environments for AI platforms and integrated tools
•  Collaborate with legal, business, and technical stakeholders to operationalize AI/ML legislation
•  Develop training programs to raise awareness of AI-related security risks
•  Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
•  Design and implement technical solutions for insider threat detection, logging, and telemetry ingestion
•  Create security blueprints, models, and standards to guide secure IT architecture
•  Optimize system performance to reduce false positives and adapt detection logic
•  Support secure deployment of behavior analytics models with appropriate privacy controls
•  Contribute to automated response engineering, including alerting and blocking based on insider risk thresholds

What We're Looking For:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
•  3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles
•  Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their secure implementation
•  Proficiency in network security, operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
•  Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
•  Knowledge of network architecture, endpoint telemetry, and insider threat behaviors
•  Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
•  Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
•  Understanding of privacy and compliance requirements for insider monitoring
•  This is a full-time W2 role, not C2C

Preferred qualifications:

•  Expertise in mitigating AI-specific vulnerabilities such as adversarial attacks, model poisoning, and data leakage
•  Experience securing AI systems in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
•  Certifications in AI security, governance, or development
