An established, growth-focused residential property operator is seeking a Director of Sales & Operations to accelerate portfolio performance and strengthen operational excellence. This role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership, driving sales velocity, efficiency, and a best‑in-class customer experience.

Description

Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Director of Sales & Operations will own sales performance, operational consistency, and leadership development across a multi‑site portfolio.

  • Drive portfolio growth through rigorous KPI tracking, data‑driven decision making, and proactive trend escalation.
  • Improve sales velocity, occupancy, and revenue through structured sales processes and performance management.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate Property Managers with quarterly scorecards and clear accountability frameworks.
  • Serve as the Process Champion, owning SOP development, training, audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and manage annual budgets with high accuracy; track variances and present clear recommendations to executives.
  • Facilitate monthly training sessions, property visits, and communication rhythms to elevate sales and operations capabilities.
  • Manage up effectively by providing concise updates, early risk visibility, and solution‑oriented recommendations.

Profile

For the Director of Sales & Operations, we are seeking:

  • 7-10+ years in multi‑site sales or operations leadership, ideally within residential or service‑driven environments.
  • Proven track record improving sales velocity, occupancy, and team performance.
  • Strong financial acumen with detail‑oriented budgeting and reporting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate upward effectively - surfacing risks early and proposing solutions.
  • Experience owning SOP governance, audits, documentation, and process rollouts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership strengths in coaching, accountability, and change management.
  • Customer‑empathy mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional resident experiences.
