Hawksworth UK are now hiring a ‘Enterprise Network Engineer’ on a Permanent basis for a Global FinTech (Wealth Platforms & Solutions) in London. This is a Permanent role offering up to £75k -£85,000 + 8% Non-contributory Pension scheme, Private Health, hybrid working (1 day per week in the office).

The job:

We’re now on the lookout for an Enterprise Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and automated network solutions across our global infrastructure. In your role as Network Engineer, you’ll ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems, leveraging DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations. The position would suit someone who is a good Enterprise Network Engineer looking to move into more off prem AWS.

Required skills & experience:

• Strong knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53).
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler products (ZIA, ZPA).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
• Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Terraform desirable).
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud-based security models.
• Basic understanding of SSO and identity protocols (OIDC, SAML2).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and service mesh technologies.
