A global leader in industrial equipment manufacturing is seeking top talent to support its continued growth in fluid handling and precision application technologies. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Sales Director to lead and grow a high-performing international sales organization. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and executing long-term sales strategies across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in technical B2B sales within industrial materials, chemicals, or adjacent manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the North American sales team and provide strategic oversight to global sales operations through a matrixed structure.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape and implement long-range sales and business development strategies.
  • Coach and develop a diverse team of Sales Managers, Account Managers, and technical sales specialists.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure sales alignment with business priorities.
  • Oversee sales planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring through regular reporting and review cycles.
  • Cultivate strong relationships across distribution networks; support channel enablement, performance, and contractual management.
  • Lead key hiring, performance evaluation, and talent development initiatives within the global sales function.
  • Manage departmental budgets, incentives, and KPIs to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Represent the business in key customer, distributor, and industry meetings, driving strategic account engagement and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, industrial materials, coatings, or chemical-based sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing, distributed sales teams and working through channel/distributor networks.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles in technical product environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build and execute data-driven sales strategies.
  • Experience working in or with international markets; cross-cultural team leadership is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced education preferred.
