Head of Sales – Power Markets
We are seeking a Director of Business Development to drive commercial growth across US power markets. This role sits at the intersection of origination, trading, and structured products, with responsibility for developing and monetizing relationships across utilities, IPPs, funds, and large energy consumers.
Head of Sales, Power Markets responsibilities;
- Originate and grow commercial relationships across wholesale and retail power markets
- Drive new business in physical and financial power products (term, structured, congestion, capacity, environmental attributes)
- Partner closely with trading, risk, and structuring teams to bring deals from idea to execution
- Maintain senior-level relationships with counterparties, brokers, and market participants
- Identify new market opportunities across ISOs (ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, MISO, NYISO)
Head of Sales, Power Markets experience;
- 8–15+ years experience in power markets (BD, origination, trading, or structuring)
- Strong understanding of ISO market structure and power products
- Proven commercial track record with an existing industry network
- Comfortable engaging at C-suite and senior trading leadership level
- Entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and relationship-focused
