HVAC Presales Engineer

Our client is a leading European company that designs, produces and distributes systems for air conditioning, heating, fresh air and purification with a wide range of solutions for residential, commercial and industrial use.

Role Overview

• The Presales Engineer is responsible for preparing and supporting technical and commercial offers for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects. The role involves close collaboration with the presales and sales teams to ensure optimal, efficient, and compliant solutions tailored to client requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze technical documentation (specifications, drawings, technical requirements);
• Perform HVAC system sizing and select suitable equipment;
• Prepare technical and commercial offers, including bills of quantities (BoQ);
• Request and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors;
• Present offers to clients and participate in technical clarifications;
• Cooperating in the development of new projects by providing technical support to designers;
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance;
• Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of the products;
• Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
• Collaborating with the design, production and engineering departments of the company to determine how products could be modified to suit the needs of the customer;
• Cooperating with distributors in different countries;
• Offering technical support in public and private tenders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Building Services, Energy, Mechanical, or similar);
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HVAC tendering, design, or execution;
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling);
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications;
• Strong skills in cost estimation and budgeting;
• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel), AutoCAD, HVAC design software;
• English – advanced level.
