We’re looking for a Lead Solution Architect to drive large-scale projects across Enterprise Risk Management and Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) platforms. This strategic role will influence architecture decisions that ensure resilience, regulatory compliance, and scalability for critical banking systems.  

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, technical teams, and business owners to design and approve robust architecture frameworks supporting complex risk domains within the enterprise.

🔍 Role Overview:

As the Lead Solution Architect, you will:

• Own the design and documentation of all architectural deliverables including:
• Macro Architecture
• Technical (Single) Design
• Process & Sequence Diagrams
• Security Architecture Diagrams
• Collaborate with business owners and tech leads during requirement refinement
• Lead solution reviews through internal architecture boards:
• Solution Design Working Council
• InfoSec Architecture Review (ISAR)
• Architecture Review Board (ARB)
• Align technology solutions with regulatory frameworks and enterprise goals
• Act as a thought leader on functional and technical best practices

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and IT
• Influence project scope and business cases aligned with enterprise architecture
• Design risk management systems that support compliance with Basel II/III/IV, IFRS, DORA, and other regulatory standards
• Lead discovery, analysis, and solution blueprinting
• Translate complex requirements into scalable, secure architecture
• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of architecture solutions
• Guide the enterprise architecture team on tools, standards, and methodologies
• Drive innovation and identify cost-saving opportunities

✅ Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience architecting and implementing Enterprise Risk and Liquidity Risk Management platforms
• Deep understanding of banking risk domains: operational, credit, market, and liquidity risk
• Proficiency with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and large data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Strong knowledge of regulatory risk frameworks: Basel II/III/IV, IFRS, DORA
• Expertise in:
• RESTful APIs, API-led design, event-driven architecture
• Cloud Architecture & Security (AWS required, Azure a plus)
• Cybersecurity risk assessments (ISAR)
• Creating logical/functional architecture and integration diagrams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work closely and effectively with both business owners and technical teams

📍 Location & Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid – Quincy Office (Boston, MA)
• 3 days/week onsite required
• Fully remote is not an option
