National Sales Director
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (On-site with Travel)
Compensation: $200,000 – $220,000 base + up to 50% performance-based incentives

Position Summary
The National Sales Director will lead the strategic development and execution of all national sales initiatives. This role is responsible for managing and scaling regional sales teams, expanding market penetration, and driving year-over-year revenue growth. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this position is instrumental in shaping long-term sales objectives and strengthening key client relationships across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales managers and sales teams across multiple territories
- Set, monitor, and report on performance KPIs, revenue targets, and pipeline forecasts
- Identify and develop new market segments and high-value opportunities
- Foster long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and decision-makers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to enhance customer experience
- Oversee negotiation and execution of enterprise-level sales agreements and contracts
- Conduct ongoing market, competitor, and trend analysis to inform sales strategy
- Manage national sales budget and ensure effective resource allocation and ROI tracking
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior national leadership capacity
- Demonstrated success managing distributed sales teams and consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven sales tools
- Willingness to travel nationally up to 50%
