Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
  • Experience using machine learning and building solutions.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, etc.).

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you will drive growth in Google's advertising by forging relationships and applying technical knowledge to enable seamless product integrations with key third-party partners. You'll be at the forefront of these integrations, from initial implementation and ongoing technical management to optimization and strategic migration.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Enable seamless data flow and functionality between third-party product integration partners and Google's advertising platforms.
  • Ensure the prompt and proper resolution of any technical challenges faced by partners.
  • Manage partner expectations and ensure their readiness through collaborative partnerships with product management, engineering, and key stakeholders.
  • Perform implementation reviews, and analyze/optimize client product mix to ensure their success and readiness for the privacy centric future of advertising.
  • Improve product offerings by providing partner feedback to product operations, product management, and engineering.
