PhoScale supplies the 400G / 800G / 1.6T optical interconnect behind GPU clusters and AI data centers. We're building our North America go-to-market team in San Jose, California — and we're hiring 4 people to start. Join the founding US team in the middle of the AI-infrastructure buildout. Direct access to tier-one optics manufacturing across Asia, sold into North America. Base + commission, with room to grow as the US business scales. Be the technical face of PhoScale for AI-infrastructure and GPU-cluster customers — from first conversation to a lit-up link.

What you'll do

​

• Advise customers on 400G / 800G / 1.6T interconnect design — spine-leaf fabrics, breakout, reach and compatibility.
• Own technical pre-sales: BOM review, RFQ support, alternative-model and compatible-coding recommendations.
• Guide per-unit test reports, power-on verification and troubleshooting.
• Work with the supply-chain team on lead times, allocation and sample programs.

What we're looking for

​

• 3+ years in optical transceivers, data center networking, or pre-sales / solutions engineering.
• Solid grasp of QSFP-DD / OSFP optics, DR/FR/SR, breakout, and switch / NIC platforms (NVIDIA, Arista, Cisco…).
• Clear, customer-facing communicator who can translate specs into outcomes.
• Based in (or relocating to) San Jose; authorized to work in the US.

Own the North America sales motion for bulk optics and grow PhoScale's customer and channel base from the ground up.

What you'll do

​

• Develop resellers, system integrators, GPU-hosting / AI-cloud providers and AI-infrastructure projects.
• Run the full cycle: prospect → RFQ → quote → order → repeat, and hit revenue targets.
• Build and manage the channel partner program in North America.
• Represent PhoScale at industry events and with key accounts.

What we're looking for

​

• 3+ years of B2B sales in hardware, networking, optics or data center infrastructure.
• Hunter mentality with a track record of hitting quota.
• A network in AI infrastructure, data center or the channel is a strong plus.
• Comfortable selling technical products; based in San Jose; authorized to work in the US.
